Able Works initiative Project Connect 209 is an implementation-ready sexual risk avoidance education (SRAE) program that delivers research-based knowledge and skills to promote positive decision-making and healthy relationship formation. Under the joint leadership of Able Works, community implementation partners (Project Yes, She Became, South Modesto Partnerships, and Youth For Christ) enroll youth participants (aged 12-19) and deliver the program that consists of 12 lessons delivered over 8 interactive hours.

The program uses activities, discussions, and videos to engage youth in learning about healthy relationships. Additionally, youth have the opportunity to participate in a Youth Leadership Council. The Youth Leadership Council will give input into the effectiveness of the program and have unique leadership experiences with other youth who have participated in the program.
